“So many people have sent me videos of their young daughter dancing to that song,” John explains about his song “Fairytale Dress” which differs from his usual upbeat, feel good music. “Strangers are just sending you a video of their father-daughter dance. That’s always going to be a part of a very special moment. That to me is as cool as having a sellout show or a crazy crowd in front of you.”

He shares his unique view on the connection that HiNOTE provides.

“The main point of being in this is getting that overlap that transcends music and becomes something a little bit more personal,” he says.
